Reality television personality Kim Zolciak has been accused by her daughter, Ariana Biermann, of subjecting her to an unauthorized cosmetic laser procedure that removed her facial freckles when she was approximately 14 years old.
Ariana, now 23, made the disclosure in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, during which she recounted the incident while applying makeup. The Next Gen NYC star stated that she frequently recreates freckles on her face using cosmetics, explaining that she does so because her natural freckles were removed without her consent.
According to Ariana, her mother, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, had arranged for her to receive what was described as a “facial.” However, during the appointment, an acquaintance observed that Ariana’s freckles appeared to be fading, prompting her to question the esthetician.
The skincare professional allegedly informed Ariana that her mother had instructed her to remove the freckles via laser treatment, claiming that Ariana “didn’t like them.” Ariana contested this assertion, stating, “What! I love my freckles.” She added that although some freckles remain faintly visible on one side of her face, most were permanently removed.
Ariana stated that she recently reminded Zolciak of the incident during a phone conversation, to which her mother reportedly responded with laughter. Ariana said she rebuked her mother lightheartedly, telling her, “You’re a jacka*. Now I have to stamp them on because somebody removed them — and I didn’t want them removed.”*
Despite describing her mother’s past action as “insane,” Ariana emphasized that she still loves her. In the caption accompanying the video, she wrote, “The time my freckles disappeared lol,” to which Zolciak responded in the comments with several laughing emojis. Ariana replied, “hahaha jacka*.”*
The revelation follows Zolciak’s recent public admission, during an August appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, that she had used Ariana’s modeling income during her teenage years to pay household expenses amid financial distress linked to foreclosure proceedings and her contentious divorce from former NFL player Kroy Biermann.
