The Almost Famous star, 46, shared a makeup-free selfie taken in a hotel room while preparing with her glam team and multitasking on her laptop. Dressed casually in sweatpants and a minimal bra top that highlighted her toned midsection, Hudson humorously juxtaposed her image with a recent photograph of Kylie Jenner, 28, posing in lingerie and sipping wine in a luxury suite.
Hudson captioned the post, “Basically the same @kyliejenner,” drawing lighthearted comparisons between the two. While Kylie has yet to comment, the post received a “like” from her sister, Kendall Jenner, 29. Fans and colleagues flooded Hudson’s comments with praise — including Running Point co-star Brenda Song, who declared Hudson “hotter” than Kylie. Several others lauded Hudson’s “natural beauty.”
This is not Hudson’s first playful association with the Kardashian-Jenner family. In 2024, she and her mother, actress Goldie Hawn, starred alongside their family in a holiday campaign for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand. The campaign — which also featured Hudson’s fiancé Danny Fujikawa, her three children, and her brother Oliver Hudson’s family — showcased the clan in coordinated pajamas enjoying festive desserts. Hudson’s post also preceded her red-carpet appearance at the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation’s Pioneer Dinner at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, where she was honored as the 2025 Pioneer of the Year. The award, one of the most distinguished in the film industry, recognizes individuals whose leadership, philanthropy, and community service are exemplary.
For the occasion, Hudson exuded classic Hollywood elegance in a strapless baby-blue mermaid gown that accentuated her waist, complemented by a refined updo, diamond jewelry, and radiant pink-toned makeup.
