Television presenter AJ Odudu, aged 37, appeared in attire consisting of a gold silk mini dress featuring a high neckline and pronounced shoulder pads, cinched at the waist with a leather belt. The ensemble was complemented by black suspenders and black stiletto footwear. Ms. Odudu was photographed with co-presenter Will Best, who was attired in a brown suit paired with a pale pink shirt and patent leather shoes, as the pair prepared to host the live eviction episode of Big Brother.
During the broadcast, it was formally announced that contestant Gani Khan had received the fewest public votes and was therefore the second housemate to be evicted. The program had previously eliminated one contestant on launch night, when participants Caroline, Sam, and Emily were required to determine, amongst themselves, which individual would be removed from the competition. Emily, aged 25, was ultimately evicted pursuant to this process.
Mr. Khan faced potential eviction alongside fellow contestant Zelah Glasson. Due to severe weather conditions arising from Storm Amy, the live set and audience were suspended, resulting in Mr. Khan’s departure through an alternative exit. He was met by Mr. Best in the exit corridor, after which the presenters conducted the customary post-eviction interview from the Late and Live studio.
During an earlier episode, Mr. Khan made disclosures regarding his personal life. In conversation with housemate Jenny, he stated that while exploring his bisexuality, his father directed him to enter into marriage, culminating in his wedding to a cousin in January 2024. He further disclosed that he has a 10-month-old son from the union, notwithstanding his admission that “married life was not for him.” Jenny appeared visibly surprised by these revelations, which Mr. Khan contextualized within his journey since relocating from India to the United Kingdom between 2022 and 2024.#newsafro_
