Sarah Paulson has disclosed an unexpected on-set incident involving Kim Kardashian during the filming of their forthcoming legal drama, All’s Fair.
The 50-year-old Emmy-winning actress recounted that, amid an emotionally charged confrontation scene, her delivery became so intense that a fragment of food unintentionally flew from her mouth and struck Kardashian, 45, directly in the eye.
“I had to say some really scandalous things right in Kim’s face,” Paulson told People. “At one point, I actually spit a potato chip on her. I was screaming, and suddenly—‘bing!’—I saw it go right into her eye.”
Their co-stars, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, Naomi Watts, and Teyana Taylor, confirmed that the mishap was one of several moments when Paulson and Kardashian struggled to maintain composure. “Sarah and Kim sometimes could not look at each other without laughing,” Close revealed, while Nash-Betts added, “Once the laughter started, we all knew we were losing at least 30 minutes before filming could resume.”
In All’s Fair, Kardashian portrays Allura Grant, a formidable divorce attorney who leaves her prestigious firm to start her own practice—determined to destroy her younger husband, whom she believes married her for financial gain. The series also features guest appearances from Brooke Shields, Elizabeth Berkley, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Judith Light as clients of the powerhouse female legal team.
During a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Kardashian spoke about her approach to the role, emphasizing her professionalism and preparation: “Working with a cast like this, I wanted to make sure I was completely prepared. I made sure I knew my lines, was on time, and was super professional. These women are the greatest at what they do, and I just watched and learned every day.”
She added, “It was an honor, and I’ve had the best time. Working with these women was like summer camp.”
Kardashian also revealed that she will soon learn whether she passed the California Bar Examination, which she took in July. “I get the results a few days after our All’s Fair premiere,” she said. “So please pray for me—I worked really hard.”
After completing a six-year law apprenticeship that allowed her to bypass traditional law school, Kardashian is on the brink of achieving her long-held ambition to become a licensed attorney. She passed the “baby bar” exam on her fourth attempt in December 2021 and has since completed her studies under California’s legal apprenticeship program, concluding in May 2025.
She is expected to receive her bar exam results on November 7, 2025, potentially marking the culmination of her journey from media mogul to legal professional.#newsafro_
