Nicole Kidman playfully forewarned her daughter, Sunday Rose, that she was about to be “arrested” by pop star Sabrina Carpenter — a humorous exchange that quickly went viral.

Sunday, 17, whom the Oscar-winning actress shares with her estranged husband, country singer Keith Urban, posted a screenshot of the lighthearted text message to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

“Hi baby, I’m heading down to be arrested. x,” Kidman, 58, wrote to her daughter shortly before Carpenter jokingly handcuffed her for “being too hot” during the singer’s concert in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday.

“Thanks mom and @sabrinacarpenter,” Sunday captioned the screenshot, adding a video of the moment Kidman was mock-arrested on stage with the comment, “someone’s in trouble.”

The Big Little Lies star became the latest celebrity to be “taken into custody” as part of Carpenter’s ongoing concert tradition — an on-stage skit that playfully features famous guests. Kidman was placed in pink, fuzzy handcuffs just before the performance of Carpenter’s hit song Juno, with the pop star even referencing Kidman’s now-iconic AMC Theatres intro line.

“We come to this arena for magic, right?” Carpenter quipped to the crowd, echoing Kidman’s line, “We come to this place for magic.”

Concert footage showed Kidman standing near the front row in a bright red T-shirt and jeans as the crowd erupted in cheers. “Oh my goodness,” Carpenter exclaimed upon seeing her, adding, “I expected to find love, but not my soulmate.”

During their on-stage banter, Carpenter asked Kidman where she lived. When the actress replied “Nashville,” Carpenter joked, “Then I guess I’m moving to Nashville.” The singer also teased Kidman about her recent role in the film Babygirl, adding, “You’re so Babygirl, I don’t know what to do.”

The pop star ultimately declared Kidman her newest “Juno girl,” a title given to each celebrity featured in her concert segment.

The light-hearted appearance came amid significant personal changes in Kidman’s life. The actress recently confirmed her separation from Urban, filing for divorce on September 30 and citing “irreconcilable differences.” The estranged couple share two daughters — Sunday, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14 — and have agreed to an amicable custody arrangement.

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Kidman will serve as the primary residential parent, with 306 days of custody per year, while Urban will have 59. Both parties waived claims to child or spousal support and agreed to share court costs equally.

A source close to the actress told Us Weekly that Kidman has remained positive and focused on maintaining stability for her children. “She’s in a good headspace,” the insider said. “She’s creating new traditions with her daughters and keeping their home life steady and loving. This next chapter feels more like a transition than a shock.”#newsafro_
