Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has paid tribute to Nigerian mothers, describing them as “the nation’s heroes” in recognition of their sacrifices, resilience, and contributions to family and national development.

In a message commemorating Mother’s Day, the First Lady praised mothers for their commitment to nurturing families, raising responsible citizens, and sustaining communities across the country.

According to Oluremi Tinubu, the role of mothers in shaping the moral, emotional, and social foundations of society cannot be overstated.

She acknowledged the strength, patience, and dedication displayed by mothers, especially in the face of economic and social challenges.

The First Lady also encouraged greater support, appreciation, and recognition for mothers, noting that their efforts remain critical to building a stronger and more stable nation.

She concluded by urging Nigerians to celebrate and honour mothers, describing them as pillars of love, guidance, and national progress.
