Reality television personality and entrepreneur Kourtney Kardashian, aged 46, appeared virtually unrecognizable in recently released photographs of her family’s Halloween celebration held last week.
On Friday evening, Ms. Kardashian shared a series of images on her verified Instagram account, depicting her, her husband Travis Barker, and their son Rocky Thirteen in coordinated costumes inspired by the 1993 film The Nightmare Before Christmas. Their son, who turned two years old on November 1, was also dressed in a matching outfit consistent with the family’s chosen theme.
The post was geotagged “Halloween Town,” referencing the film’s fictional setting. In her caption, Ms. Kardashian wrote simply: “The romance.” In the photographs, she appeared markedly different from her customary public image, wearing blue face paint, a long reddish-brown wig, and a costume emulating the character Sally, a humanoid ragdoll from the movie. Her ensemble included a patchwork dress, bright red lipstick, and painted stitches across her body.
Mr. Barker, aged 49, assumed the role of Jack Skellington, the film’s central character. He concealed his tattoos and skin with white face paint and wore a black-and-white pinstriped suit consistent with the character’s appearance.

The Lemme founder and Mr. Barker, who married in a formal ceremony in Italy in 2022, share Rocky as their only child together.

In her birthday post for Rocky, Ms. Kardashian continued her practice of concealing her son’s face on social media, using a heart emoji to obscure his features. In her caption, she quoted the full text of Nancy Tillman’s On the Night You Were Born, a children’s book she has reportedly read to her son.
This follows prior online discourse surrounding Ms. Kardashian’s decision to withhold Rocky’s facial identity from public view. In response to critical social media commentary on the matter, Ms. Kardashian indirectly acknowledged the discussion by liking a comment defending her parental choice.
