Migos rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus, professionally known as Offset, has been sued for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress following an alleged altercation with a security guard at a Los Angeles dispensary.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the incident occurred in March at MedMen LAX, where security guard Jim Sanchez claims the hip-hop artist became “hostile, verbally confrontational, and physically attacked” him after being asked to present identification.

Sanchez alleges that Offset struck him in the face and that several individuals accompanying the rapper joined in the assault, leaving him with severe head and neck pain that required hospital treatment.

Offset’s representatives have denied the allegations, asserting that the guard acted aggressively and even spat on the rapper, provoking the confrontation. Sources told TMZ that Sanchez later used mace on Offset and his companions during the dispute.

The lawsuit comes as Offset, 33, navigates a contentious divorce from fellow rapper Cardi B, 33. The estranged couple, who share three children, officially separated earlier this year following multiple reports of infidelity and irreconcilable differences.

Meanwhile, Cardi B recently announced that she is expecting a child with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, 31, marking her first pregnancy since her split from Offset. Speaking on CBS Mornings with Gayle King, Cardi revealed that the baby is due in February, adding that she and Diggs are “in a good space” and “very supportive of each other.”

Offset has yet to publicly comment on the pending civil lawsuit.#newsafro_
