Internationally renowned Afrobeats singer and songwriter, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has formally announced the Nigerian segment of his ongoing “5ive Tour”, with scheduled performances across multiple states of the Federation, including Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Oyo, and Lagos.
According to a statement released by the artist on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, the Nigerian tour will commence in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on October 26, 2025, before proceeding to Yola, Adamawa State, on October 29, Enugu on November 1, Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 9, and will conclude with a grand finale in Lagos State on December 25, 2025.
Expressing enthusiasm about returning to perform on home soil following the North American phase of the tour, Davido described the Nigerian edition as a deeply personal milestone in his musical journey.
In his official statement, the multiple award-winning performer remarked:
“I’m blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go — Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m bringing it home. After an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only right we bring that energy back where it all began. My 5ive Tour Nigeria, y’all ready? This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one’s for us.”
The 5ive Tour builds upon Davido’s recent string of sold-out performances across the United States and Canada, where he showcased hit records from his Grammy-nominated album, Timeless.
This Nigerian leg underscores the artist’s enduring influence within the global entertainment landscape and reaffirms his commitment to promoting Nigeria’s creative and cultural excellence on the world stage.#newsafro_
