Jackie Apostel has publicly responded to online criticism regarding her relationship with Cruz Beckham, after a social media user commented on their nine-year age difference.
The 29-year-old shared a family photo from Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show on Friday, in which she and Cruz, 20, were seated in the front row alongside Romeo, 23, Harper, 14, and their father, David Beckham, 50. Brooklyn Beckham, 26, was notably absent.
Captioning the post, Jackie wrote, “What an incredible show and in my favorite dress yet. @victoriabeckham — honored to witness all of this come to life.”
However, one commenter questioned the couple’s relationship, writing: “Why is a 29-year-old dating a 20-year-old? That’s just weird. I’m talking about Jackie dating Cruz.”
Apostel swiftly replied, stating: “Because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal — and also quite handsome.”
Jackie and Cruz reportedly began dating in June 2024 and made their relationship public in October of the same year.
Since then, Jackie’s public profile has grown substantially. According to reports, her social media following has doubled, leading to a number of lucrative endorsement opportunities with luxury fashion houses including Dior, Burberry, and Jimmy Choo, as well as jewelry brand Pandora and beauty labels Sol De Janeiro and Summer Fridays.
